KHYBER AGENCY: Security forces on Monday seized a huge cache of arms, ammunitions and explosives during a search operation in Damo Drub area of Rajgal in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
A statement issued on Monday said that the security forces were consolidating their positions up in high mountains in Rajgal during the recently started Khyber-III operation. Sources said security forces also recovered an improvised explosive device (IEC) during the search operation Rajgal area.
It may be mentioned that a total of 40 terrorists have been killed in the operation so far. Security forces have destroyed at least 43 terrorists’ hideouts in ground and aerial operations since the start of the operation in the treacherous terrain of Rajgal, the ISPR said.
