ISLAMABAD: Pakistan says it wants to immediately arrange best possible medical treatment for the victims of the Indian brutalities in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK).
In a statement, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said the magnitude of humanitarian crisis in IHK has compelled us (Pakistan) to immediately pool our material and human resources for treating the victims.
The prime minster has called upon the international community to stress upon India for allowing Pakistan to arrange medical treatment of the pellet guns victims who have lost their eye sights.
He directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mobilise support of international political leadership, humanitarian organisations and the civil society through Pakistani Missions in exerting influence over India.
Nawaz said the healthcare providers in Indian-held Kashmir are not being allowed to treat the victims and the Indian forces are targeting hospitals and ambulances serving the defenceless Kashmiris.
He added that Pakistan will arrange for the boarding, lodging and expenses on the medical treatment for the victims.
