ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in a meeting during flight from Lahore to London settle some crucial matters.
During flight both leaders agreed that PTI would formally be permitted to hold its public meeting at F-9 Park and the PTI leadership would review its decision of staging sit-in outside Sharif family’s residence at Raiwind.
Reliable sources said PTI has started deliberations on the proposal to hold sit-in protest over Panama Leaks outside the Punjab Secretariat. According to sources, Nisar and Imran met twice in the plane during the flight. PTI leader Jehangir Tareen had vacated his seat for Nisar.
The Interior minister on the request of Imran said that PTI would formally be permitted to hold its Foundation Day function on April 24 at F-9 Park, however, no one would be allowed to take law into hand. Imran assured Nisar that the public meeting would be peaceful and the party workers would be let to go homes after the function.
